My understanding is CID constantly trolls ebay for optics, radios and body armor. Not to many bright ones out there.

Well they certainly have their hands full this week. There are also "brand new Special Forces PVS-7s" and "brand new Special Forces PVS-14's" listed.

Friggin yikes...

I wonder how much I could get for "Old ass, grouchy, and partially broken Special Forces SGM.....Rode hard, put up wet, guaranteed poor conversation and steady stream of insults."

Eagle5US 06-09-2011 17:35

LMAO-

People will pay for damn near anything it seems, if you positively guarantee that you will verbally abuse someone wearing your authentic "wore in the war" uniform, you could probably garner good money in the 1/4 hour interval.

Oh - and you have to give them a certificate when you are finished. That makes it legit.:D

I always wondered about that stuff on Ebay.

I have heard rumors about a certain individual in the Topeka area who's in MR or NG that 'finds' stuff laying around during maneuvers. It is rumored he has outfitted his family with NVG, and if you are looking for something and willing to wait he might find something for you for a price.

It is hear say, but I would bet money on it being true..

It is possible to legally buy PVS-14s and PVS-7s. The other items like the plugger and radios not so much.

Yes, I bought 14's from ITT. The rep was nice enough to give me the LE price.

gggaz.com has them for a great bundle price which comes with a rail mount and rugged molle case for them, and several hundred dollars cheaper than I could find anywhere else.

These days sir I'm betting you could sell Hood, Riding, Red, Little (one each), with accoutrements - since provenance would be no issue for the QP's at all.
