Quote of the month.

"Frankly, I don't know what it is about California, but we seem to have a strange urge to elect really obnoxious women to high office. I'm not bragging, you understand, but no other state, including Maine, even comes close. When it comes to sending left-wing dingbats to Washington, we're number one. There's no getting around the fact that the last time anyone saw the likes of Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein, and Nancy Pelosi, they were stirring a cauldron when the curtain went up on 'Macbeth'. The three of them are like jackasses who happen to possess the gift of blab. You don't know if you should condemn them for their stupidity or simply marvel at their ability to form words."

......and yet, they keep getting reelected?

California is becoming our nation's biggest crushing defeat and failure, our Waterloo in no small part because of these blathering dingbats. What would it take for those who elect these jackasses to figure this out?

Oh, I know....lets elect Jerry Brown Governor!!!

He'll fix it for sure.......

I was in NV when it went down, not as if there was anyone really running against him.

Just as Gov. Chris Cristie is trying to dismantle the stranglehold some corrupt unions have on New Jersey. Other politicans allowed them complete autonomy and brought them into prominance elsewhere, and benifit to this day off their coruption. It's a self-licking ice cream cone....jd

Give us about 10 years and we'll be back to the silicon days (I hope.) It's been said many times before, the legislature has to change before anything gets better. If President Regan was resurrected and made governor tomorrow he'd be up the same fecal creek that Arnold was.

IMO, California (and the rest of the country) needs more independent voters.

TL;DR America needs more independent voters :D

No, America needs less idiotic voters. AKA liberals.

At the current rate of unlimited stupidity on the left coast, California doesn't have 10 years and no, I don't believe you can compare Arnold with Renaldo Maximus. Who knows what Ronnie would do with California as it sits today but history suggest he would have done some things differently than Arnold did, and perhaps with better results. But, I'm not one to "what if" so I'd just feel more comfortable if Jerry Brown had a conservative epiphany and started enacting measures that promoted small, medium and large business, and targetted corrupt public employee unions instead of promoting a would-be Progressive/Socialist/Marxist utopia which history proves can never succeed......figure the odds though.

IMHO, we need far less independents and more people who know what they want, hold to their convictions (right or left), pay attention to the issues and are not so easily swayed by catchy slogans, gimmicks, media misinformation or hollywood endorsements; who vote for candidates who mean what they say even after the election is won because if they don't, they get thrown out the next election. No term limits needed, just an electorate that pays attention.....

Otherwise, I'm sure that whatever you're thinkin is absolutely correct...:D

Sounds like I'm all wrong haha

I guess we're going to have to agree to disagree. If I had a dollar for every time I heard a democrat or republican say they were going to vote for someone "because they are on the same team," I'd have enough money to buy a new set of ACUs.

Team voting is a lot easier than researching all the candidates and making a decision based on your personal beliefs.
