Diamondback .380
I just recently started to seriously search for a good pocket pistol. I had pretty much decided on the Taurus .380 until I saw a Diamonback Arms DB .380. It looks like a baby Glock. It has really good three dot sights, feels good in the hand and is comparable in price. It does not have a slide lock feature after the last round like the Taurus though. The problem is, I had never heard of this company before the other day. Searches on the net give it a mixed review. Some love it, some complain of unending malfunctions. One video I watched, the guy was firing left handed and obviously limp wristing it, causing a FTE every third round.
Has anyone here actually fired one of these? My main draw is the fact that it has good, functional sights vs. most pocket pistols rudimentary sights. |
I went thru that crux when I bought a S&W 442 because I could hide it just as easily as the LCP or P3AT and still shoot a 158 gr. flat-nosed lead bullet-very impressive ballistics.
I dry-fired it with snap caps 3 or 4 thousand times, and the trigger pull is long and hard, but as smooth as silk. It hasn't jammed on me in over 3 years, either. |
