If they had to drop one, JFCOM was the best choice. It is completely redundant now that we have NORTHCOM. Good move.

Well, we will see if there is any real reduction, or just a change of all the signs from JFCOM to NORTHCOM...

Plus two busloads of generals and a truck load or so of senior civilian managers.

I expect the two Virginia senators will put their NIMBY shirts on and hold hearings for a couple of years to stall it off.

Not a good time to be an unemployed bureaucrat (unless you can retire). I feel for the little guys who will have a hard time finding a new job.
