I feel the same way. I try to watch every channel on television now that I have cable again. It's clear all of them have a different bias one way or another, but since I don't get to make news happen, and do not know the more secret inner-workings of the U.S. government, I am curious to know where the experts turn.

Believe it or not.....for me, it's The Early Bird

I'll click on that forum before turning on the news or reading a paper.

One of two local channels and the the local paper's website; NPR, Wisconsin Public Radio and this place for bigger pictures. Once in a while if I can stay up late enough, I'll catch John Stewart for humor. :p

Other than PS.com, these shape my thought process and are about all I have time for :D

All the news .orgs from Drudge on the left hand column - very seldom watch the tube anymore…
http://www.drudgereport.com/

As well as these:
http://www.politico.com/
http://www.humanevents.com/
http://www.dawn.com/
http://www.thememriblog.org/
http://www.longwarjournal.org/
http://www.michaelyon-online.com/

And being somewhat conservative leads me to these, not necessarily in the below order:

http://gatewaypundit.firstthings.com/
http://ibloga.blogspot.com/
http://weaselzippers.us/
http://www.jihadwatch.org/

The right hand news column on this site

http://www.stratfor.com

They’re relatively unbiased, are not geared to mass consumption, and do not take a lowest-common-denominator approach to their world view. They also tend to be well ahead of the curve.

Put me in this group. I try to read several different sources, but often find myself traveling and short on time. When that is the case, PS.com's Early Bird forum is my first choice both to see the important current headlines and to read the commentary by the many subject matter experts who visit. Thanks to all of you out there who contribute, especially the QP's who let us visitors learn from the wealth of knowledge here.

The early bird, Headline news, Foxnews, Washington Times, Fay. Observer, WRAL, USA Today, BBC, and probably about dozen others. I have several news feeds on my smart phone.

One of my favorites...Onion News Network.
