:confused: Why would anyone push armor that stops an AK??

Rated for higher than AK, they dont say how much higher only "The NSTT offers scalable armor packages to meet multiple threat levels" Looks like they offer 3 threat levels and also claim IED protection. The closest to a public spec I could find was Opaque & transparent armor Euronorm B6+

B6 is 7.62x51 FMJ pointed nose with a soft core, B7 is the same with a steel core.
