Now we have Obama and no Hope and no Cash..

How TRUE.... How very very True!!!

Speaking of Obama and no hope... I was one of those people who hoped the African American population would feel encouraged and inspired by Obama's election. Didn't see this coming.


So my 70 yr old mother is standing in line at the post office yesterday. Fort Worth, Texas. In front of her, already at the counter, are 2 youngish black women who are tying up the entire post office staff with their anger. Something about someone putting a "do not deliver to this address" sign on their mailbox and something about lost checks and where is my mail and blah blah blah.

The postal workers went to the back and looked for the ladies' mail and found nothing. Now the "ladies" were screaming curse words, gesturing and threatening the postal workers.

My mother, concerned and alarmed, steps forward with a smile and says, "Let's just calm down. They're all trying to help you."

Big mistake. They turn to face her and unleash their curses on her. "You stupid white b****! Just stay out of this! This has nothing to do with you b****!" {ETC.}

A post office employee tries to get their attention and says, "Ladies, if you don't calm down we'll have to call the police!"

Then one of the ranting ladies turns back around to my mother and says, "And you REALIZE that Obama is the president now, you b****!"

That is one seriously comedic line. Apparently Obama, the president of the United States, is now going to ensure black people get their mail and ensure 70 yr old little old white ladies are kept under control.

What else can you do but laugh at that ridiculous comment?

Well, except for the part where they followed her out to the parking lot and kept cursing at her until she drove away. That wasn't funny. In fact one of the few times I wish there were some armed QPs at the post office.

Good reason to step out of the camera angle and let some OC spray loose on them in the parking lot before driving off.

A couple of us volunteered to help the flight attendant subdue an asshole (for want of a better word) on the flight to Vegas for SHOT.

The world is full of people who are alive only because it is illegal to kill them. And people have no idea who they are talking trash to every day.

Mercy. Would have liked to witness that.... Did you hear about the drunk woman on Harsey's flight - delayed the flight while they subdued her and threw her off.

To those not from America who are reading this, you see we certainly have our challenges in front of us. I'm still just as proud to be American, just focusing on the good folks and never giving up..... onward..........

Bro, you seriously need to brand that ingenious idea, if it was yours, through it on a T-Shirt, that would sell like healthcare at a democratic convention.
