FOG TV 1957: "26 Men"
|
I vaguely remember this show. I was 9 yo. We did not get to watch much TV. We were allowed a couple hours after dinner and Saturday AM. Never allowed to chose the show..
It was Lucy, Art Linkletter, Arthur Godfrey, Pro wrestling, baseball when available. Thanks for the memories.. :D :munchin :D :munchin |
Though I was about JJ's age at the time, I remember it - possibly more from re-runs. When I found we were moving to Arizona in '63, I thought I might be able to be one of the "26 Men". It had a cool theme song!
<link is broken, so I couldn't see the information> There is still an "Arizona Rangers" group - a civilian "auxillary" with several "companies" around the state. They help out at events, etc. http://www.azrangers.org/index.html I'd love to get a DVD of the show to add to my small collection of "vintage" TV - "Sea Hunt" and Branded" (All but one man died, there at Bitter Creek...)! "Seek and ye shall find" - http://www.oldies.com/product-view/9554D.html |
