Looking for something to do?

Are you planning a trip or just need to get the hell out of the house for a few days. Here is a list of events that I thought might be of interest. They are around the country so I am sure that some of you are either nearby or could travel within reason. The great thing about the festivals is that many brewers bring only their top notch and hard to get/find products. A great way to also get out and try some new ones as well.

There are several in there (ok about 20) that I have been to in the previous years and they are always a good time as well as a great place to get out and check out the local beer scene as well as the food.

If I had to pick I would HIGHLY recommend the Great American Beer Festival in Denver (9/30, 10/1-2) and the Portland Brewers Festival (7/23-25). However I have been to many of these and do not recall any of them being other then a great time.

HELLO!!

Mr. Harsey, could you check this event out and report back to us?

Just tell the spouse it is duty related, sort of like beer homework.

I might have to check this one out.......

I'll be just returning from the JRTC and most likely in need of an ice cold adult beverage!
