If you are getting up a group, let me know - I'm in! With a party of 10 or more, you can make reservations - which beats a 3 or more hour wait (especially this time of year).

I'll call ahead and say I'm making a res for the "one" and his staff....;)

Is this trip really necessary?
 

The president wants us to think he's primarily interested in stabilizing the economy and getting America 'back on track.' He wants to show leadership.

Yet, what is the economic impact of his numerous efforts at self promotion? I don't just mean the cost to the federal government. What about the cost to local businesses that have to endure the disruptions of a president's visit? The president could not communicate his points in a podcast?

In less turbulent times, these issues might not be as pressing. Given the present circumstances, these trips show, again, the disconnect between what the president says and what he does.

They'll tell you that they are closed. Dims don't tip (or pay taxes). :D

And it's about 103 here today, it's going to "cool" to a chilly 98 by the time the "one" speaks. To top it off the press said it would take "hours" just to gain entry to the ceremony. In this heat it ain't worth it....

After reading the reviews I have my doubts, but have been told by very respected sources its worth the wait. However, I hope the abuse the client factor is in check, I'm not good with that kind of behavior.
