Reducing feet sweat?

My feet sweat quite a bit wearing boots and all types of foot wear for that matter. Normally, I combat the issue with foot powder and changing socks.

Zinc Oxide? Now I've heard that this is a technique especially for winter. However, zinc oxide comes in many product forms. What is the proper application?
