Early Warning

LONDON - More than a year before 9/11, a Pakistani-British man told the FBI an incredible tale: that he had been trained by bin Laden’s followers to hijack airplanes and was now in America to carry out an attack. The FBI questioned him for weeks, but then let him go home, and never followed up. Now, the former al-Qaida insider is talking.

Probably just a coincidence, ask bill clinton.

mffjm8509 06-03-2004 18:44

Why would anything be done.....

Kobar Towers was bombed.....nothing was done

USS Cole was bombed......nothing was done

8 years of weakness and idle threats, a complete failure to protect those sworn to defend this country by a weak and corrupt administration, why would they act on an admitted terrorist confession?

I think we need to ask Mr. Richard "We're were all over it" Clarke and his pal Jamie Gorelick about this.

I heard something on the radio this morning that was so bizarre. Clarke is now saying we should have bombed Iran not Iraq....

Edited: add the link

I wouldn't hold my breath. Michael Moore has a tendency to select his facts very carefully.

 Just like I have a tenency to avoid using foul language in a combat zone.:p

No, no. Not 'very carefully' as in, does careful research and makes an effort to get the balanced truth; 'very carefully' as in, picks and chooses very selectively to make sure he only uses the 'facts' that support his own agenda.

Solid 06-10-2004 16:18

Judging by media response to both of his new films, he's damn good at chosing those facts, and very good at making persuasive films.

Maybe people should start referring to him as 2K4 Goebbels?
