Sad News on Don Lassen.....

Static Line's, Don Lassen died at age 86. Just received my paper and read the sad news. A legend is lost. Rest in Peace......:(

:( There goes The Static Line...Don was The Static Line.
FYI--Don was a 504 guy who jumped at D-Day and Market Garden. I worked with him a lot and got to know him well when I had Tower Branch and HHC 1/507TH and we were getting the Airborne Memorial Walk put in.

Very sad news!

As Richard said, Don was the Static Line! It has been a couple of months since I talked with him. Pretty big loss for the Airborne community.

Rest In Peace Don!!!
