OUCH!!!

Well, everyone I just got back from my first drill with 20th group and all I can say is man I'm sore, and Doc said that I strained my Patellar tendon while I was training, thats why my knee keep giving out and was painful to walk on but all I can say is that its great to be with guys that want to be the best they can be. Well back to my sit ups and push ups. :lifter

Well don't know what to say guys, I had a drill the 1-4 the of this month and my knee is getting worse DOC said that I needed more then 17 days to heal from the first drill and this time we were out doing lunges with the rucks and kettle bell knee benders and my knee has gotten worse so now I have to get an MRI and maybe even scoped , this isn't looking to good for my first two drills and I only have 90 days to prove myself to the NQP program NCOIC or they send me to another unit or make me a cook in 20th any advice on what to do with the knee to get it in shape FAST?

My medics always started with RICE. FWIW - Pushing a recovery usually means unsatisfactory/delayed healing and long term complications. Good luck.

Before I went thru the course. I'd always wonder why? Medics bedside manners sucked when treating teammates.....:D

Stay safe.

Well MRI came back the tendon's are ok and we may still not have to get it scoped, but they did give me a cortisone shot and all I can say Is cheese and crackers! that sucks, but they want me to run on it and get back with them next month and let them know how it feels wish me luck and any PT advice for my knee would be great.:lifter
