Yeah I guess they don't make us like they used to. On second thought I think I'd rather tap code than explain to the TL that his email doesn't work because of his operational error's even after a class:rolleyes:....ha just kidding

Commo school itself wasn't that bad. Trying to talk someone into humpin' the generator and seat up a mountain was the hard part...

Had that experience in Switzerland, walking up out of the valley twice a day.
The first couple of trips were always easy...you could get volunteers. Then everyone figured out what was going on, and it turned into a duty roster :D

The good ole' days...:cool:

I always said DX-ing the hand crank generators led to the demise of the lieutenant slot, also meant someone else had to carry the rope!:munchin

I did have a Det CDR, who had been a roofer, he was the best generator operator, his arms were like my legs.
