He is heading down the wrong road IMHO, but then again some of us already new this about him. In Christianity's view he will obtain the status of a "False Prophet" and a very evil one at that because he will be playing both sides of the field and the end zones. Does the American population in general not see this in him?:confused::(

If I'm not mistaken, TR, his father was a Muslim, and his mother was Christian. The Senator is a "Christian", though not exactly of the Orthodox sort (understatement). Not that it really matters anyway; he's a democrat.

It may be duplicitous, but when you know in your heart of hearts that the mainstream media will never call you on it you kinda just go for it.

The sad thing is that liberals really do believe that Christians in general are stupid enough to fall for this crap. When they get together at their social functions they look down their nose at people with faith and openly mock their intelligence. If you don't believe me just bring up intelligent design with a liberal and listen to the venom and contempt in their voices. Hell they even wrote an entire book about the stupidity of the people in Kansas for voting Republican. Number one on the list of complaints about the Jayhawks is their faith.

They hate Christians them yet they find themselves needing them to win national office, or at least they need them to stay home and not vote for their opponents. So now we are left with the sad spectacle Hillary and Obama trying to out bible thump each other and everyone with half a brain sees it for the farce that it is.

I was watching and listening to the female speaker of this video on the Trinity United Church of God. I was always taught that the real TRINITY was the Father (God), the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit/Ghost. In this video they make it sound more like it is Culture, Community, and then Christ. As you continue to listen and watch this video, you get a keen sense of "self" being more important than anything else. They also make sure that it is known to others that they are a from Africa which is stated continually by name or by culture (African Culture). Doesn't this kind of remind you of some of the mind control techniques used by the Japanese in WWII and later the Chinese in Korea. In God's world nothing could be farther from the truth. I am just wondering if he and others like him are trying to start up a Civil War II in this country.:confused:

Jesus in the Bible has always taught us that "self" is evil and sinful and everything we do is to the Glory of our Lord and Father, not self.

IMHO, this all makes Obama an even more dangerous person to this great nation and all Chrisitans and Jews living here.

I react that way to intelligent design, and I'm not liberal. :D

Obama's preacher is more than a little racist, if you look at some of his views, and listen to some of his statements. He sounds like some leftover 60's black socialist.

I find his newfound faith, and Hillary's, more than a little phony.

I believe his true comittments are shown through his membership in such a divisive organization.

I haven't had time to read all of it, but the "Origins of the Grand Canyon" part rings true to me.
I get to see the Marble Canyon area up close and personal 2 to 4 times per day, depending on dispatch.

Many with a scientific background would challenege how "hard" the science behind intelligent design truly is. Simply put, any "theory" which presupposes the existence of a omnipotent, omniscient, benevolent being (without providing a shred of evidence for the existence of such or being able to account for the origin of such a being) is hardly scientific by any stretch of the imagination. ID is neither scientific nor a "theory." ID is a belief, not "science" or theory.

No, of course they don't see it. Consider the rate of functional illiteracy. Reflect on the ability of people to understand compound interest. View a network news report. The American population is more interested in how Princess Diana died a decade ago than they are in the details of politics.

How is Obama presented? Young, articulate, innovative - which are all good by definition in our present culture. He is also presented as a non-threatening black. This appeals to those who will support a black candidate as proof, both to themselves and others, that they are not racist.

But I think Obama's real purpose is to create a false sense of drama. He is not unlike the distraction a magician uses to divert our attention from something else - in this case, Hillary's advance.
