islam coming to a "School" near you.....

They were discussing this on Foxnews this morning......

The people of "Great" Britain are now bowing to islam in a big way.
People of Britain you are no longer sheeple you are now lemmings. What next, teaching islam's sharia law inorder not to offend your muslims?

Fear not terrorism, Britain and the United States will destroy themselves from within.

Teachers drop the Holocaust to avoid offending Muslims

(British)Schools are dropping the Holocaust from history lessons to avoid offending Muslim pupils, a Governmentbacked study has revealed.

It found some teachers are reluctant to cover the atrocity for fear of upsetting students whose beliefs include Holocaust denial.

Is it just me, or are some animals more equal than others in this new secular progressive world?

Soviet Communism never happened, it was all a fabrication, the Cold War was a figment of our collective imaginations.

The dying Europe

In 20 years France, Italy, Germany and others are simply going to be Muslim. So much for Europe being a glamorus travel destination.

Don't think this is far away... My girlfriend is in a Masters of Education program. She came home upset again yesterday, as she often is after class. This time, they had been discussing economic implications on students (ie, dealing with poor students). Obviously at a mainstream university the conversation turned to how Bush and the capitalists ensure oppression. At some point, someone said that something was "communist"-in a derogatory sense. The professor took great offense. The debate ended as he spent the remainder of the class lecturing them on the evils of capitalism, the love of communism, and how the USSR and China are not really communist-but mean dictatorships. If the USA would leave everyone alone, then a communist state would emerge and the world would be good. This was upsetting as usually, but the truly upsetting part was that after class many of the other students remarked how "he opened my eyes" or "thats so beautiful" or "I hate Bush and America-why can't we leave these people alone." THESE PEOPLE WILL BE TEACHING YOUR CHILDREN IN 5 MONTHS.

Higher education - along with the MSM, the last refuge of die hard scoundrels.

Where else would they find work, since they contribute nothing but opinions and requirements on everyone else?

I think this is the main reason we decided to Home School. However, I fear that my kid will appear very screwed up to those liberal fanatics who dislike an America first attitude, Military Patriotism, good ol’ fashioned Capitalism, Freedom, Democracy (as based on our constitution) , Liberty, and responsibility for self!!!!.

Funny how these ideologys alway's come out of the education department, the history, the socieology, and arts schools of any Universtity or college. In my experience most prof's at these universities are still wondering why they haven't leaped the bell curve in personal income. It's much easier to demonize capitlism and the current administration then to look at ones self and relize that their views are in fact pent up frustration at their own failures to keep up with the Jones's.

Captilism works PERIOD. All one has to do is look at the Soviet Union, Mexico, et al and see how government run industry has failed. (Miserably)

Funny how these profs at this college seem to take all the spoils of captilism just as quickly as any one else, but condemn it's reality into a sport of denigration and disgust. Ask the profs if their taking all their allowable tax deductions this season and the asstounding answer is "YES"

I was lucky - one of my minors was History - and none of the Profs I had in my 2 times in getting my BA (pre mil, post mil) were anti-America... got my BA in 1990... also a small private/nominally Christian University in the Southwest - TCU.

Over the weekend I watched an interesting, and telling, debate on C-Span between David Horowitz, author of "Indoctrination U.", and the president of the American Association of University Professors, Cary Nelson.

Info here: http://www.booktv.org/feature/index....480&segid=7973

Video link: http://www.booktv.org/ram/feature/0307/btv031807_4c.ram

It’s ninety minutes long.

When Horowitz complained about bad professors being protected by tenure, professor Nelson explained that there were clever ways around this problem. He used, as an example, the case of an incompetent physics professor that was denied a pay increase. . .for 20 years!

That's too bad. Why didn't they just take the angle that if they were devout followers their beliefs wouldn't be swayed?

If history is written by the winners, then what does it say when we re-write (or omit) parts of history for Islam?

Hollywood, or the Democratic party?

I guess being 'nice' comes first before the education. After all, if you don't like what history has recorded, you may have an anxiety attack. Or cry. Or be upset. Those teachers should go club themselves. They'd actually be doing their students a favor rather than teaching history.

Bullshit.
