I brought this over from another site I'm on. I checked "Snopes", but couldn't find any definite proof. But this sounds like something Hillary would say and or do.

Secret Service Detail

I have a very close friend who has spent the last 25 years or better with the Secret Service. After closing up some of his time here in Cincinnati investigating counterfiet operations he was given the opportunity to serve on the Presdential DS assignment for Clintons second term.

Every thing that SDIVER posted is exactly the type of behavior he told me in the confines of our own friendship.

I also was close to some former Clinton detail guys for a time. Their stories also confirm that the above behavior is not only true but much worse. Someone with a temper who acts on their emotions can not become Commander and Chief.

...because Secret Service are there for her personal SERVICE...right? :mad:

I've read Dereliction of Duty and it is appalling. Written by an Air Force Lieutenant Colonel who was not only assigned to the White House Presidential detail, but charged with carrying the football (a fairly credible source in term of qualifications, access, etc). If she gets the nomination, I would be surprised if it doesn't go into a second printing...

It's interesting that one of the biggest or possibly the biggest Hollywood Moguls has put his money with Barack O'Bama. (Daved Geffen) Since I'm a huge movie buff and music is practically my hobby, the name David Geffen bears more weight than most expect.

What does this mean for Hillary since it's only Febuary of 2007 ?

One thing I do know about politics is that money is as important or more than the message of the candidate. If this is sign of the direction of big money supporters, then I'm afraid HRC is actually going to have to become somebody other than just Bills wife and the senator from NY. She has too many skeletons in her closet and his closet to overcome if a "Swift Boat" type campaign ever gets started. (Hopefully)

For now, it's fun to see the start of the in-fighting. It's just what the doctor ordered.
