Miami Vice Movie
 

Saw it on Friday night and was pretty impressed. Never really went in that much for the tv series but the first hour plays out with little fan fare. Development, events and action detail a lot of elements in the narcotics trade...

Then there is a love story that is in there but it's never really developed, which makes me wish they cut it and stuck to the main thread of the story. But it all comes together very nicely in the end.

I really liked Mann's past few films (The Insider, Collateral, Ali, Heat, etc.) so perhaps I am biased. But I'm going again tomorrow night ^o^

Entertaining Flick
 

I saw Miami Vice yesterday before work, and thought it was very entertaining. It was cool to see a movie in which the good guys don't play nice. No negotiation with slimeballs, and none of that "let's drop our weapons" crap. It was overall a nice two and a half hour escape before work.
