Global Guerrillas states?
 

Nice info paper on Guerrillas or Terrorism being looked more as mini states. To me a lot of the Middle and Near East Guerrilla, Warlord, tribal/family "areas" could be looked at as mini states.
Afghanistan was looked at being broken up during the late 80's and early 90's into the Warlord controled area (AO) "states". Something later done to Bosnia (BiH) and Kosovo
