Tactical portion of Robin Sage

Hi my son will be starting his 2.5 month field training soon - this includes a tactical portion before robin sage. I’m curious on what is covered in the tactical phase?

The course description in the below link is (broadly speaking) accurate...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United...n_and_training

You indicated in your late June 2022 post that your son had (by then) completed Small Unit Tactics & SERE...

Thus, he is now in his MOS Training Phase; specifically the SF Detachment Officer's Course. The training phase that immediately precedes Exercise ROBIN SAGE.

Small Unit Tactics/SERE & the MOS Detachment Officers course are both described in the provided link. That should give you a sense of what he is going through. In Unclassified terms.

Tactical field exercises occur during all three of the SFQC Training Phases I just mentioned. Essentially, his tactical training is about learning and practicing both light infantry & guerrilla warfare skills.

Good Luck to your Son.
