Beau is reported to have died from glioblastoma multiforme (GM)

Joe thinks it was from burn pit exposure.

I have found very little information supporting the link. Although fairly common (within brain cancers), I found that GM has extensive research without linkage to "environmental" causes. The exception was linkage to Agent Orange (VN era). I did find suggested associations with specific genetic syndromes.

How many JAG officers tended burn pits?

My specific area of research is and has been the immunopathology that underlies chronic inflammatory diseases (fibrotic and neoplastic). To the best of my knowledge the pathology driving glioblastoma development is not chronic inflammation.

Burn pit exposure can lead to a classic chronic inflammatory syndrome that can lead to fibrotic diseases and some cancer types, but not including glioblastoma.

I have attached a white paper describing my drug candidate. I plan to test this on veterans with burn-pit induced chronic inflammatory syndrome.

My medical assessment would be that a new class of ambulance chasers (i.e., lawyers without a cause) will be sprouting up shortly to file class action lawsuits against the military/government now that Joe Biden (president of the United States of America) has announced that burn pits are a leading cause of unspecified health problems and death in service members.

The fact is, politicians and lawyers, know a LOT more about health care, biology, human physiology, and medical diagnosis than the rank and file doctors.
It's why some organizations are trying to use bureaucrats to censure doctors that might publish unauthorized medical opinion

As a former medic, former USAF flight surgeon and current hospice physician who cares for a number of patients with this glioblastoma multiforme Joe Bidens claims are total BULLSHIT and a disservice to those who have sacrificed for this country and those with GM
