Willing to provided the name and info privitely to someone in the know

Let me know if anyone of the BTDT'S would be willing to confirm this before I call B.S.

I'm sorry but we do not verify or deny the status of SF personnel to the general public on this site.

If the guy in question is in trouble with the law call the authorities and allow them to sort this out. If he's committing a crime, they have the authority to check out his story and rectify the situation.

If all he's doing is posing and you still want to pursue this, you might look up the closest Special Forces Association and send them an email. I don't know if they would help, but one of the members might know about this guy. It would be their call on what they want to do. They may give you the cold shoulder.

With all that said, no one I know wants to vet a SF guy in a public forum on the internet. It's the need to know deal in effect, who's asking and why they are asking. Too many loose ends and terrible side effects when something goes wrong on this type of situation.

Good luck.

The problem here is that we can't be sure of who is asking and why. As previously mentioned, this could cause many problems if we were to provide info like that. You may get the same response from the SFA.

Tactical Medic, and all others wanting to “vet” a possible SF Poser…..

1. We are currently at war.

2. We don’t know you.

3. We don’t vet possible SF’ers for people we don’t know.

4. It would be very stupid for us to vet a Special Forces soldier on a public forum while we’re at war.

5. Read one through four until you understand the underlying message.
