Internet Question
Every now and then when I open a web page, I get a message:
Runtime Error Has Occured Do you wish to Debug? Line: Some Number Error: Object Expected Some pages have 20-30 of these things. If I answer "Yes" I get some program that sits there. If I answer "No" for every line, eventually the page opens. Is there something I can do to make this go away? |
Is this in IE? Go to Tools-> Internet Options-> Programs tab and tell me what your HTML editor is set for. I've seen this and fixed it but my memory is failing me right now.
Kyo, am I on the right path? |
Yes. BUT, this is coming from popups and little apps that the page is trying to load but are being stopped by the IE security settings and your pop up blocker. You either get this annoying window and click cancel all the time or you get pop ups.
There's probably a hack to make it stop but I've never looked for it. |

Change it from FrontPage to notepad.
|
Did. No change whatsoever.
|
Try this
Tools-> Internet Options->Advanced Check off "Disable Script Debugging" See if that might help |
That fixed it. Thanks Dunbar
