Trump upset the status quo, because he couldn’t be bought. They are afraid of that. The Bushes were vulnerable, they were weak, they wanted to be a powerful dynasty, but they were never even close to that. Trump scares them, and the “swamp” should be afraid, very very afraid. P.S. I initially didn’t care for him but, as he progressed in his term I saw that he only had America in his eyes and the future of America “first” as his policy. I am not a die hard “Trump Fan” but with the choices we are given, I would vote for him again. |
When Trump calls for His supporters to RALLY around Him. Is that an insurrection ?

in·sur·rec·tion | \ ˌin(t)-sə-ˈrek-shən \ Definition of insurrection : an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government re·volt | \ ri-ˈvōlt also -ˈvȯlt \ revolted; revolting; revolts Definition of revolt intransitive verb 1 : to renounce allegiance or subjection (as to a government) : REBEL 2a : to experience disgust or shock b : to turn away with disgust transitive verb : to cause to turn away or shrink with disgust or abhorrence revolt noun Definition of revolt 1 : a renouncing of allegiance (as to a government or party) especially : a determined armed uprising 2 : a movement or expression of vigorous dissent So if a Political Candidate / Figure / Persona calls for the LEGAL “replacement of representation” through election (s), then I guess it could be if used in the broadest use of the word, but that would then include pretty much EVERY opposition candidate’s position (s)….. “I will NOT. EAT. MY. PEAS! And Box CAN’T make me!” ETA: Revolt is the root word of “Revolution”….. and the last time we had one of those, a group of tyrants were confiscating guns, censoring our news, having show-trials, taxing us relentlessly, and searching our homes without legal justification.….. just sayin’…… |

Personally I don't foresee this thing called transparency happening any more than we were privy to the lies told to achieve multiple FISA warrants. And I don't care whether the "temperature" is lowered or not. Civility hasn't worked for a long time. And, having read something about this other earlier revolution, "lowering the temperature" usually means "it has moved on, everyone's after the latest shiny object, and nothing will be done." "I WILL eat my Peanut Butter and the FDA is NOT taking it away!" :D |
A party of firsts.
Travel with me my friends, as I take you all on a journey of democratic firsts.
First administration to behave like a third world government by ordering a media circus of a violation of a former presidents 4th amendment rights while also trying to circumvent his 5th amendment rights by stealing documents relating to attorney/client privilege as part of an openly brazen attempt to ensnare and imprison their political opponents. First party caught sodomizing a government clerk with a cigar in the oval office First to push passage of Jim Crow laws First to attempt to succeed form the USA prior to starting a civil war. ...later, the first to field a failed Union General to try and unseat the President that was trying to win the civil war and end slavery (bonus points for being the party that wants to change the names of almost all of the military posts named after civil war generals - except for the seditious traitorous one that ran against Lincoln) The first to literally rely on a criminal organization to fund and support their political campaigns... ...don't trust my biased political diatribes ?? Just read about Tammany Hall and their behavior from the 1790's all the way into the 1960's The first to have someone in the executive branch murder someone in a dual... The first to have a murderous VP make for the wild west in an attempt to start his own country. First to PROVE that you can in fact, sleep your way to the top First to have a president tell you to put on a fucking sweater because of his failed energy policies. First to have a president ask for a definition of the word "is" First to successfully build a secret police force the size of 19 army brigades while convincing stupid people that the secret police are actually going to be robbing rich people to help feed poor people. First party to pass trillions of dollars in "Inflation Reduction" to fight a Zero-Percent inflation problem First to have a president tell you to EAT YOUR FUCKING PEAS because of his failed economic policies. ...don't fret, the best is yet to come. |
Me thinks you forgot; the first group of people to put pillow cases over their heads for the sole purpose of racial harassment, kidnapping, lynching and murder. And that came about as result from losing the ability to buy and sell people for the sole purpose of slavery (of which they were not the first, but now they are just happy to pay them a minimum wage for services rendered.)
ETA: and then there is J. 3dgar H00ver, maybe the first cross dressing transgender person in federal government who created an agency for the purpose of shaking down political foes, family businesses, capitalists and just about anyone who went against their political objectives. (Kinda like, let’s murder Bonnie and Clyde and then create the National Firearms Act to make sure “the people” don’t have access to the same weapons the government has.) |

But it does get a bit complex. Many of the actors at higher levels of power probably just lust for more power, and Trump is an impediment. They probably have some sort of rationalization for their actions which involves pursuing the “greater good.” At the lower levels of power, Trump has been cast as being worse than Hitler. If you could prevent Hitler from coming to power, wouldn’t you feel morally justified in doing anything to serve that goal? Many on the pro-Trump side mirror the sentiments of the rabid left. The only caveat being that the right wants the left to start the shooting first. The author’s concluding question and fear, whether they’ve thought this through, is probably quite true in both cases. Some on the left have thought this through and want the conflict, some haven’t. I would pose a slightly different version of the final fear: It’s just scorched earth tactics. If they don’t win, they’ll make sure everyone loses. |

This makes sense.
They’re willing to go through these shenanigans to cover their tracks. If the Republicans gain control in Congress, Trump can hand over the goods. “What is interesting here is that Trump had specifically ordered the declassification of all materials related to the FBI's involvement in Russiagate and related matters. But it seems this declassification was not carried out. In other words, the involved people in the Justice Department apparently refused a direct presidential order. I suspect that this is really behind what is going on. I suspect that the FBI and the Justice Department are trying to cover their tracks. Be prepared for a substantial number of documents to turn up missing.” https://www.americanthinker.com/blog..._coverage.html |

-It was republicans that made him swear to support the party nominee in 2016 only so they could come out and say that they wouldn't support the party nominee. -It was republicans that enabled and encouraged the Steele Dossier in the first place -It was republicans that overtly scuttled many of his attempts at advancing the agenda he was elected to execute -It was republicans that kept quiet when they should have spoke up -It was republicans that voted to impeach him -It was republicans that voted to impeach him twice -It was republicans that campaigned FOR joe biden in 2020 -It was republicans that refused to suggest that there was any kind of election tampering -It continues to be republicans remaining quiet when they should be speaking up -It continues to be republicans declaring their campaign support for democrats over republicans that haven't sworn a blood oath against Trump "Republicans" - it doesn't mean what you think it means. |

Don't be ridiculous. You're probably thinking of an old Buck Rogers radio broadcast. If something like that actually happened it would probably cause a civil war resulting in a fascist dictator taking power. NO.SEAS.RIDÍCULO. Just don't try telling me you're referring to the Spanish Civil War. That was just a Chevy Chase gag on SNL and guess what... "Generalissimo Francisco Franco is STILL dead!" |
