Obama Says Washington Feels as Broken as it Did Four Years Ago (When he took office.)
If you were POTUS, would you say something as outright stupid as this? Say you left a command in worse shape than when you took it; would you blame others, or yourself? I think this inane example of self-piteous whining typifies this man's performance.
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012...d-4-years-ago/ President Barack Obama says Washington "feels as broken as it did four years ago," when he took office. He's most frustrated by the inability "to change the atmosphere" in the capital "to reflect the decency and common sense of ordinary people" who want leaders to solve problems. He adds "there's enough blame to go around for that." Obama tells CBS' "Sunday Morning" that there's no doubt that he underestimated how much "politics trump problem-solving." Snip |
He just never quits, always blaming others........... It's really going to be a pleasure seeing him go.........;) :D

Sounds like an admission of failure to me...

Yesterday in the library...
I must have misread Bush the Younger's comments in Decision Points about the poisonous political climate in the Beltway and his unsuccessful efforts to change the tone of political debate.

ETA. I'm going to conclude provisionally that "it" applies to Bush the Younger's concern about the political environment inside the Beltway. And, in reply... <<The President's News Conference, April 29, 2008>> and for the remix, <<LINK2>>. |

He keeps saying how Mittens should "FOCUS" his message but nobody is listening. Maybe because Mittens has high priced campaign guys who "know better". Maybe the same guys who worked for McLame. |

There's a saying in basketball that a mad player is a bad player. IMO, this saying is equally applicable to politics. For the past three years, we've spent too much time being mad and getting madder. If we don't figure things out and try something else, we're going to be gnashing our teeth and ranting "How did this guy beat us -- again!?!" If we don't figure things out and try something else, the answer will be the same as it was in 2008. We were more interested in being pissed off than in winning. My $0.02. |
There is another saying in basketball: "If the player misses the shot, fire the player. If the team misses the shot, fire the coach."
President Obama is admitting he didn't and can't get the job done. I am not mad at him, I wish him no ill will. I would simply like to see him go. sf |
I think that the folks are interested in winning...but sometimes I do wonder about the candidate.
Sometimes, getting mad in politics (and sports) can also translate into getting motivated. Now, properly focusing that motivation in a manner that translates into victory is, indeed, key. Time will tell. |

More often than not the message is a simple, short sighted sales pitch that ends falling way short of the expectations of the needy, trusting and/or gullible audience. In the context I know it best, the salesman promises a unachievable delivery to 'get the order'. In their eyes the end justify the means. The salesman has a short termed success, they got the order and a commission. However the long term ramifications involve damage control (Bribes - Ball Tickets & Lunches to keep things on the QT), support staff jumping through hoops to cover what is most generally the salesman lie(s) and the end result is no matter what you do the salesmen has lost the trust of the customer and possibly tarnished the reputation of the company as a whole. Hope & Change. Read my lips, NO NEW TAXES. Mission Accomplished. I can hear you. The rest of the world hears you! The Message, unless you have done your home work and can deliver on it.........is Just Words. |
Take a Team out and f.ck up a mission, then try to blame it on your subordinates or anything else at the hotwash and see what happens.
Should be no snivellers allowed in the White House, regardless of the affiliation. Right now, the sniveller is a libdem socialist whose bullshit FAILED, so let's try Conservatism for a while. |
