When are you leaving NYC? I might be making a trip back home to NYC next Friday.

TS- make commo, I'm in, give me a time and date - boat's out of the water though.

Airbornelawyer 11-03-2006 21:45

I just moved to NYC (Long Island) last Sunday. Throw a rock at my window.

Team Sergeant 11-04-2006 08:18

I'll be there for seven days....... (a week)

x_sf_med, if boat is out of water you can help me collect rocks.

I was born and raised a couple miles from those coordinates. Have a nice visit.

Meet at Louie's - it's been yuppified, but still the best steamers on LI:cool:
Unless you'd rather do the city.

I grew up about 10 mi (driving, 3 mi as the C130 flies) west of your coordinates, know the area well, land and water.

kgoerz 11-04-2006 19:37

Long Island

Are you from there. I grew up in Coram L.I

x SF med 11-04-2006 19:39

Doc T is from Long Island.

How about Glens Falls? About an hour north of Albany, in the Snow Belt.

Team Sergeant 11-06-2006 11:50

Trip is back on.

All rocks are packed.

I'll be in town tomorrow night.

Since it's back on - I'll collect rocks - baseball shaped ones, or ones with nice sharp edges and spikes?

Get three smooth, two pointy ones, and a bag of gravel. Or whatever the selection was in "Life of Brian".

Beard and stone seller: Oh, not like these, sir. Look at this! Feel the quality of that, that's craftmanship, sir.
Mother: Hmm...all right, we'll have two with points and...a big flat one.
Brian: Could I have a flat one, mum?
Mother: Ssch!
Brian: Sorry! Dad!
Mother: Ehm...all right, two points, ahm...two flats and a packet of gravel.
Beard and stone seller: Packet of gravel. Should be a good one this afternoon.
Mother: Hm?

Beard and stone seller: Local boy.
Mother: Oh, good.
Beard and stone seller: Enjoy yourselves!

Monsoon - You mean this scene?

Team Sergeant 11-07-2006 18:16

That's the one!! Life of Brian was the first Python movie I saw and I can remember laughing my butt off at that scene. That, and the grammar lesson for "Romans go home".

TS-
Do a secondary recon at my place - you'll find a mess and Molson XXX in the fridge - feel free to clean up the mess, and drink a couple of cold ones, cleaning the mess is secondary. I believe there is some wine in the hacienda for Doc T if you get an accompanied TDY.

I only got two big round rocks - one of them inscribed with the Chinese character for tranquility - apropos if stoning someone, right?
