There’s generally a silver lining to be found , though it is at times extremely difficult.

The loon Biden has nominated to head up ATF, David Chipman, he claims that the Branch Davidian’s shot down (2) Texas Air National Guard helicopter during the FBI/ATF human BBQ in Waco, Texas that left 76 people dead including many women and children.

I love how they sneak in "and is a gun owner" - I am so glad that the Associated Press cleared that up for us. I guess being a gun owner gives you instant credibility when you start maneuvering to take constitutional rights away from law abiding citizens.

Aw shucks - who am I kidding anyway. If we are being honest, shouldn’t we just call it like it is?
They aren't' "rights" they have NEVER been “rights” - at least not during my lifetime - we have a Bill of Privileges.
The bill of government approved privileges.

You think you’ve got free speech?
Pfft...
…the tech industry would say otherwise. Wear a MAGA hat to your government job. Do the ‘Tebow’ before you start your briefing. Ask a hard question during DOD mandated extremism training.
Do that and then let me know if you pull a freedom-muscle doing those free speech exercises...

Free speech is a privilege just like those second amendment gun privileges - and they DESPERATELY rely on one another for survival. Maybe I'm wrong here - who knows.
One guy got booted from the same social media platform that told him that he couldn’t “block” people that were talking shit about him. Another guy cant string two sentences together and is being allowed to block folks that are speaking the truth to power. One group of people gets demonetized, censored, and banned from a platform while people with opposing views and values enjoy the benefit of having the “Dislike” button deactivated because too many dislikes make your channel and your message look bad.
Free Speech – pfft - try again.

The "right" to keep and bear arms?? The document says that right shall not be infringed but the privilege to keep and bear arms has been getting fucked in the ass ever since Captain Red-legs Terrill made Jamie and the rest of the Missouri rebels surrender their squirrel guns. Sawed off shot guns, saturday night specials, assault rifles, and ghost guns - its all about trying to scare the public into surrendering 'the next thing' by using scary names and dirty LIES

Amazingly, according to Biden-Harris, you can turn a Ghost gun into a fullysemiautomatic weapon of doom in less than 30 minutes. That’s nice to know because just looking at an 80% kit at a gun show and I'm of the opinion that it takes longer than that just to come to grips with the fact that you’re going to need a drill press to keep from destroying the solid hunk of material you just bought. Then its going to take the rest of the day setting up your drill press that you had to buy to build your 30 minute kit gun. It is the same as pretending that a “bump stock” does something that cant be done with two heavyweight rubber bands or a sturdy belt loop – but its not scary if the boogeyman man isn’t involved and dear sweet baby Jesus, we all know that even Bugs Bunny was a whole lot funnier when Elmer Fudd still had his gun.
There always needs to be a "threat" Bugs and elmer, Harris-Biden have the ATF and Ghost Guns.

The ATF doesnt even try to hide it anymore - they say the quiet part out loud right on their website...

While the NFA was enacted by Congress as an exercise of its authority to tax, the NFA had an underlying purpose unrelated to revenue collection. As the legislative history of the law discloses, its underlying purpose was to curtail, if not prohibit, transactions in NFA firearms. Congress found these firearms to pose a significant crime problem because of their frequent use in crime, particularly the gangland crimes of that era such as the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre. The $200 making and transfer taxes on most NFA firearms were considered quite severe and adequate to carry out Congress’ purpose to discourage or eliminate transactions in these firearms.
Thats not an issue of rights being described by the bureau of guns, beer, and cigarettes - those are privileges being discussed in that paragraph. "unrelated to revenue collection" - at very best that is an admission of how taxes are used to INFRINGE on your rights. Nothing to see here folks - move along. The fact is, if you cant afford those privileges, you don’t get to enjoy those privileges.
Hot tip – rights are free (if there really is such a thing) privileges cost far more than just the money it costs to buy your way into that privilege. If you have to cut a check - its a privilege not a right but why would we call it a tax?

Why?

Because an exorbitant tax is a "legal" way of infringing on your rights and many Americans are too stupid to know the difference and too lazy to care.
-"the NFA had an underlying purpose unrelated to revenue collection"
-"its underlying purpose was to curtail, if not prohibit, transactions"
…and then congress made the “tax” high enough that only THE privileged could afford enjoy THEIR privilege.

Imagine my surprise at the DC hypocrisy – the newly appointed government approved head at the division of booze, cigarettes, and assault rifles - is also a gun control advocate "and is a gun owner".
and is a hypocrite

Its OK America - these are just common sense gun laws that most Americans have been asking for for decades...
The check is in the mail.
I wont come in your mouth.

Now, just so you all can sleep better at night, tap the heels of your ruby slippers together three time and repeat
“its just a new tax”
“its just a new tax”
“its just a new tax”

When you wake up, you’ll be safe in your bed as though nothing has changed.

We live in some strange times, don’t we? Just want to say, I think you guys are the best. Thanks for letting me have a small peek into your world these past 5 years. Lol, who knows what the future will be, it’s going to be a damn bumpy ride for sure. Just crazy, I feel like we are losing this Country bit by bit.

Tucker Carlson had a good show on the firearms stuff to night. Had a real run at the new dingaling who is proposed to run the ATF. Seems the clown believes helicopters were shot down at Waco, among other things.

He's not a dingling; don't discount this monster's ability to think up justifications for killing you & your dog. He's done a deep carpet cleaning on his Twitter account as well but archivists have grabbed some stuff according to RUMINT. But he will be as immune to his demonic rants as Hunter Biden is to prosecution for lying on a 4473.

One can debate all day the "fairness" in having policies made outside of law by agencies that are just "rule-making" bodies (e.g., ATF, FCC, FAA, et al). It won't matter that the ATF's own records, in both correspondence to peasants as well as lost court cases, say that a brace is just a device & they don't care how it's used. A "tax" hasn't risen since NFA inception due to inflation because it's not about revenue, it's about punishment, and demanding the bending of a knee by the subject to their better.

It's always important to remember that, ultimately, the only reason to disarm a citizenry is because they want to do something the citizenry would shoot them for.

Sohei 04-09-2021 06:31

What a lot of people don't realize is that it's "agencies" that propose many of the laws to the "law makers." My agency was responsible for writing up and getting passed many of our laws over the last 30 years. That "clown" of clowns can certainly go from administrative to operational law within a short amount of time if he has the right people lined up that want to push his/their agenda.

Was he even alive when Waco went down?

Carlson would've been mid-20's.

From David Chipman's CV:
Quote:

Charged with providing firearms policy training to members of Congress, gun violence prevention advocates and other groups impacted by gun violence.
Maybe he's one of the people responsible for trying to get Congresskritters to not say things like "100-round clipazine" along with helping them understand things beyond the words "common sense."*

* except for the part about "shall not be infringed."

Just saying

I love history...

.

By the end of March, Hitler had succeeded in passing the “Enabling Law” which gave him the ability to create laws as he wished, with no requirement for consultation. Following this, the confiscation of weapons escalated. Municipal governments were informed that military weapons and ammunition had to be surrendered by the end of March. The Jews were targeted next, with a large raid in East Berlin on April 4, 1933. Jews were not forbidden to own firearms until 1938, but the raid led to confiscations and arrests. The 1928 Firearms Law was utilized to identify the so-called enemies of the state, locate them, interview them, and subsequently confiscate their weapons, thereby increasing Nazi control and eliminating private ownership of firearms from the majority of society

doctom54 04-14-2021 19:35

"Enabling Law" sounds awfully a lot like "Executive Order"
