Actually, thank you for that. My dad (who I lost 18 years ago this month) told me that very joke when my Grandfather, his father, passed when I was a teen. Brought a smile to my face as this is always a difficult month for me.

Thank you, ODNT! I love that joke. Both dad and mom would have gotten a good chuckle out of it. And thank you all for your prayers and kind words.

Dad will be cremated but there is no idea as to when or where the family can hold a memorial. I had helped my brother, retired Navy CMDR and nurse, who has been taking care of the folks, get in touch with the nearest 2/19 unit for an SF detail but I’m sure if that will happen with all the nonsense going on.

There are no suitable words of condolence that do justice - the best I can say is that you and you're family are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
