I was in the Marine Corps for four years, went into the Army after debating about becoming a cop, went to selections in December of 2006 and now I am a student in the Bravo course. I work part time (a couple hours a week) at Phase 5 Supply in Fayettevile so I can get good deals on guns when I am out here. Studying Indonesian so I am probably heading to 1st group some time this summer. Hope to get some good information off this site.

Hello all. I'm a 19 year old college student; currently a poli-sci major, but undecided is closer to the truth. I walked on and a made my school's football team, but after dealing with the bureaucracy/immorality of D-I football, I'm strongly considering shifting gears and doing something more.
I also lived nearly 3 years in Vienna, and though I prefer my hometown to it, I'm feeling restless with my normal routine of the last few years. Essentially, I'm looking into 18x (or possibly RIP), and this site should (and already has) be helpful in making a decision within the next year. |
Hello everyone,

INTRO
All,
I am known as PO, to the men. I'm recently honorably discharged after three years and fours months of active duty as an 11B. I was with 3rd Brigade 2nd ID and deployed with them once on a 15 month tour. June 06 - September 07. I have been scouting these boards for years; I appreciate all of the general advice and knowledge presented on this site. Enough kissing butt, I have left the army, but the army has not left me. PO Choose your words more carefully in the future. |

Hey My name is Spencer Alan Reiter of SAR custom knives, I had a conversation with Bill Harsey and he encourage me to come over and take up his slack;).
I served 10 years 3 month and 18 days 11b3V, all my time was spent on the line with the 25th ID, 10th (M) and a stint as a O/C at JRTC. I was recently put out on a medical discharge as a SSG (P) I started building knives about 2 1/2 years ago and have seen some relative success with a few designs. I met Bill when he lost his cool and fired around over my bow we talked came to terms and became friends, I am very luck to have a veteran maker like Bill to call on when I cannot figure things out. While I was a O/C I had the opportunity to work for a Col. Meadows, hands down the best bos I ever had the chance to serve under, common sense prevailed 99% of the time. He also gave us a great LPD on his Father Dick Meadows involvement in "The Son Tay Raid" good stuff. I have been married to the same women for about 10 years we have two children Daughter Taegan 6 and son Ethan 4, my wife Corbe is currently in training to make Leather and tactical nylon gear. I will have to read up on the rules and regs, figure out when I can post some pics not mention see what topics are going down. Thanks Bill for the invite Spencer |

Just wanted to introduce myself, as per guidance. I am a retired 18Z. I am originally from San Diego, CA. I joined the USA in 1984 as an 11B, after 3 years went to SFQC for 18D. I spent my operational time in 1st SFG from 1988 to 2000. I finished my career as an istructor / NCOIC of SOTIC at Bragg. Since retirement I have work for a small company (Patriot Performance Materials) in Sanford, NC. We manufacture armor and tactical gear. Thanks for the site, I plan to visit and stay in touch with the online SF community. Regards to all, Mark |
