By the way, it is not just who you lost to, it's who you beat. I think USC probably will lose again, but if we win out, it is very tough to argue with giving a championship game slot to a team that beat the living daylights out of Arkansas at Arkansas, soundly beat Nebraska and Oregon, and also beat Cal and Notre Dame. Plus UCLA, which is a JV team but occasionally problematic for us. :D

So the big east does not have legitimate strength of schedule worth noting from the BCS poll? Where is the ACC? Oh I forgot, if it's not a team from Florida then they are not considered "worthy". P'shaw! :p

I think Rutgers is a hell of a team and should not be cast aside as an also ran because the "press" does not consider them a "big time" program.

Somebody post the Rutgers schedule and we will discuss it.

I know USC has played more ranked teams that is not my point. I believe that the system (BCS computers) relys too much on statistics and less on intangibles (talent, heart, weather, etc.). It just demonstrates that college football becomes more ambiguous each year they rely upon this retarded system. Let the kids play for it dammit!

Right on, GP. It's hilarious that the Florida schools join the ACC and then play down to the competition. They must really suck now, because my Terpies beat both of them this year.

I am rooting for Rutgers to beat WVU, which will make things very interesting. I do love a good Cinderella story, but what I would like even more is to watch these hypocrites, masquerading as major college presidents, squirm.

However, I just checked your profile and you were very, very young when I was attending U of MD (:( - lol ) so our paths have never crossed but it is good to see someone else commenting on the ACC !

LOL, you are such a homer!

Weather? LMAO, yeah the weather is beautiful in Michigan this time of year.

And Rutgers has more talent than the schools that recruit all HS all-americans.

Drinking kool-aid with the doughnuts, officer? ROTFLMAO!

;)

Goggles Pizano 11-14-2006 00:44

If that homer reference is to my beloved JoPa then yes, I am awash in kool-aide. :p
