I am a 22 year old prior active duty Army soldier. I was stationed at Ft. Bragg for the duration of my time and have served in the 514th Signal Company (Airborne) and the 128th Detachment, USASOC (Airborne). I signed up here because I saw the thread about Capt Tiffner, whom I do not know, but my uncle was his driver during the incident that took his life (my uncle survived, but was wounded).
I'm probably going to re-enlist because I hate civilian life, but we'll see. |

Hello, first and foremost I just want to say I have the utmost envy and respect for every one of you fine men.
Now, a bit about myself. Names Travis. I'm 19, young in age but I'd like to think my mental state of being is a few years surpassed. I believe, there is a small population of the true, "Those who seek justice are those who are ultimately satisfied". That rare breed of men and women alike that will take every risk, along with every precaution necessary to fulfill an ideal. Those are who I would like to learn from and learn with. I have been seriously considering enlisting but there are still a few things I have yet to find in the pages of texts. As a mental and physical being I realize the need to be honed and in control of both realms. Special Forces from what I have read and understand will push my abilities in both to limits I have not even fully realized. The years of turbulence are upon us and I for one do not want to be unprepared when the time comes to choose. |

Your post reminded me of something. A few weeks ago I opened a fortune cookie and the little strip of paper said, " Don't just learn the tricks, learn the trade" Welcome aboard. |

Hello gentlemen,
I'm a former 11B NG type, re-enlisting for the 18X opportunity. I came from SOCNET and I am grateful for being welcomed into your house and granted access to some of your knowledge. Thank you. DF |
Hello everyone,
I ran across this site a little while ago and finally decided to register. I entered as an 18X and am currently in the SFQC training to become an 18E. Hopefully I'll be going to 10th SFG with Arabic as my language. Sadly, I had to give up going to Sharky's in exchange for Rosetta Stone lessons every night. I know its a long, long way off, but I'd someday like to try for CIA Special Activities Staff or Green. I most likely won't post too much; however, I appreciate all the advice and words of wisdom from all of the experienced and knowledgeable members of the board. Thanks. |
Hello all,
My name is Rich. I try not to post my full name in publicly viewable sites, but if it's desired I would make an exception for this one. I've had an account on this board for sometime, but I've never felt the need to post as I don't have anything to add to most of the conversations. That said, I would like to thank those of you who have shared your knowledge. I've certainly enjoyed the good information and good discussions I've read so far. |
Welcome everyone.
No need for real names here, unless you want to put it out. Don't forget to fill out your profiles. Best of luck. TR |
I'm a member of the TXARNG preparing for SFAS class 003-08. I wanted to say thanks to all of you who have provided me with plenty of material to research in my quest to become a TXARNG SF soldier. I'm an 11B who just left the National Guard Sniper School, as an instructor, so I can go to SFAS. I look forward to reading more great posts from all of you.

Hello All.
Name's Chris, I'm a 21b with the 577th Sapper Co. KYARNG. My father is/was 96th civil affair bn, 1st SOCOM, 7th SFG (airborne), USASFC(A),2nd ID, 3rd SFG, then back to USASFC(A). Although now he is in the NCARNG as a Recruiter, we don't talk that much but I came here to get a better understanding of what he has done and others like him. I believe he is either SFC XXXXXXXX, or MSG XXXXXXXXXXXX now. If anyone knows him pm me.
Thanks Chris Edit by Team Sergeant |

You need to read ALL of the stickies and intros, and stop spamming the board with these requests for info. You might want to review your OPSEC and PERSEC briefings while you are at it. We don't know you, and we would not put info about an SF soldier out via the net if we did. Best of luck. TR |
