3/1 at Lewis 85-86 ... was running with CSM Taylor when he got bit and in formation for that execution too.
A/1/1 ... ODA-112 87-88 on the rock. |
Where is Taylor now?
Last I heard (circa 1990) he was trying to get a job at SWC. He was the school SGM when I got there in January 1988 from Toelz and then Barrato showed up...

The Old Guy
Reading these posts really makes me feel like a Senior Citizen.
1st Gp, Oki '72-'74. Camp Chinen SAFAsia -- 539th Engr Det, and 1st Civil Affairs Bn. Anyone remember the Red Rooster in Manila, or the Butterfly in Taipei??? Or the American Legion Club outside the gate at Clark AFB? Angeles City? "I love you so big. No touchy me mustache." |
More From the Old Dude
Can anyone verify whether the Opera Hotel is still in Bangkok?
Used to be the DZ of choice for SF R&R. Only place I ever saw with a barber chair in the room. I remember first time I ever heard Gordon Lightfoot's "Sundown" I was sitting by the pool having a San Miquel. Visionary that I was, I thought, "Wow, that song just might make it big." DUH Next day, flew to NKP. I don't remember much after that. |
