The saga continues...

If the Republicans take control, the DC Dog & Pony Show will have come full circle and Act 2 of the political Good Cop/Bad Cop charade will commence.

Within a short time buyers remorse will once again set in as the 2012 campaign immediately heads out of the yard under full steam, and after 6 months in the Republicans will begin speaking chin-boogie when they fall far short on promises like removing Health Care Reform......

I truly hope they prove me wrong, but based on history I kind of doubt it and if I am right you won't see me wasting my time with the ballot box again.

…And in sports tonight…
http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=301124019

....Dwight Howard had 24 points and 18 rebounds, J.J. Redick scored 20 points and the Orlando Magic beat Miami 104-95 on Wednesday night to hand the Heat's All-Star trio its first three-game losing streak.

The slower-than-expected start for the Heat has resonated all the way to Washington, where President Barack Obama said before the game in an interview with ABC that it "takes some time for the team to come together."

....Even Magic coach Stan Van Gundy, told of Obama's comments, joined in the fun.

"I know there's a lot of time in the day, but I'd be more confident if he didn't know what was going on in the NBA," Van Gundy said, chuckling about Obama's remarks. "We got to get some people back to work. I don't think he needs to be worried about turning the Heat around. Let [Heat coach] Erik [Spoelstra] worry about that, because Erik certainly isn't turning the economy around...."

... Says the guy that lost his head coaching job with the Heat because he couldn't get enough wins at the start of the season. That would mean a lot more coming from a winner like Phil Jackson, who coincidentally, Van Gundy is also having problems with at the moment. :munchin

POTUS - he looks older, more gray, tired....

it must be tough being married to Michelle.

I'd like to buy him a beer, say, "Sit, relax, what's going?"
