We just had the first 2 deaths (both male, 1 50's, 1 90's, travellers) other side of the state from me. They'd been part of the first number of cases reported. And 2 more cases announced the county over from me (both household contacts of the 2 recently announced). But those things are behavior triggers in the population; we'll see what tomorrow brings in the local populace. In a smaller just-above-completely-rural environment it's interesting to note the civility tendered vs. some of the conduct reported on the "if it bleeds it leads" news outlets.

Not as much fun as sitting outside the Kranzler with a beer watching the daytime Ku'damm traffic, but attention getting anyway.

A man in my circle who delivers food products to Target, etc says the logistics are breaking down due to the hoarding. Walmart’s can’t keep their freezers filled and meat and frozen products are getting harder to get. Now filling their freezers with bagged ice in case of power outages.

Our grocery delivery today had to substitute canned veg for frozen; picker said all out of frozen stuff.

Well, I've been taken off the front line at our facility for running a low grade fever (& Flu like symptoms) after coming in contact with someone who was on the "Grand Princess" cruise. It's all kinda surreal. Should get results back in 3-5 days, but until then, my wife and I are on a 14 day holiday. We're stocked up on toilet paper and booze. Lol. Hopefully our tests will be negative so I can get back in the game, and not be a hindrance/burden to our Department. Send some prayers & happy thoughts our way if you don't mind.....

T-Rock - let's hope you are going to be one of the first "Immunes" who have a mild case and don't need to worry about lack of PPE during the peak. Bless you & yours.

Gulp. The odds are greatly in your favor...but gulp. Must be really weird, we all have “half are gonna get it? I’ll be in the healthy half” kind of rationalizations to just keep walking around, but that makes it a bigger shock I think.

We stopped by Walmart yesterday after work...it looked like a swarm of locusts had rolled through. Went this morning before work, bought ground beef, pork chops, eggs, and lunch meat. Most of the meat/dairy cases were full again.

Bet they still had "Vegan" Food....:p Yeah it's crazy, I have to be at work so the time I get off the shelves are picked through. But good thing, I can always find veggies and fruit, oh and of course Veggie Burgers. My staple food besides veg, fruit, coffee and cheese.......Luckily I'm stocked up on wine......:D Be Safe.....

Wonder if this comes home to the U.S.?
