Title should have read: Obama AND BIDEN’S FBI spied on Trump.
Viewers of CNN and other networks are being spun faster than a dentist’s drill. Now There's No Denying It: Obama's FBI Spied On Trump... Period TOWN HALL Larry O'Connor Posted: Aug 14, 2020 1:20 PM Today's news that former FBI attorney Kevin Clinesmith is expected to plead guilty in the Obamagate/Spygate scandal will be tough news for journalists like Jim Acosta. Just this week, he haughtily intoned on his "network" that President Trump's charge that the Obama campaign spied on his campaign in 2016 was "just not true. That did not happen; it has not been proven." Well, today's guilty plea from Clinesmith proves it did. The spying began in early 2016 as a robust opposition research tactic of the Hillary Clinton campaign and transformed into an "insurance policy" to handicap the Trump Administration after his unpredictable victory. Clinesmith was so intent on spying on Carter Page, an unpaid advisor to the Trump campaign, that he lied to the secret FISA court and doctored an official document to misrepresent that Page had not cooperated with the CIA in past investigations involving Russian espionage. Page, a retired intelligence officer from the United States Navy and a graduate of the US Naval Academy, had fully cooperated with an earlier investigation involving Russian bad guys. That information surely would have thrown a wrench into the attempts to tap Page's phones, his emails, his text messages, and the phones, emails, and text messages of everyone he corresponded with and everyone they corresponded with. To be clear, as soon as this FISA surveillance warrant was granted, the FBI, under the control of President Barack Obama, had access to the entire Trump campaign. They spied on Trump, and it's taken four years for anyone to see any kind of criminal repercussions. When the details began to trickle in on the full extent of the Obama/Biden/Comey espionage scheme against Trump, the former FBI director provided the most incredulous and despicably pandering response. "The FBI, the Department of Justice conduct court-ordered electronic surveillance," the disgraced former top cop intoned in his sanctimonious way. "I have never thought of that as spying." Funny thing about court-ordered surveillance. First off, it's not "court-ordered." It's court authorized. That's an important distinction. "Court-ordered" makes it sound like the FBI and the Justice Department were hapless soldiers marching along to the orders of the FISA judges. "Heck, we didn't want to tap those phones, but the court ordered us to do it." That's not how this works. The FBI and DOJ petition the court for permission. They beg the court to let them spy on the people they claim are a threat to our nation. And, the only way a court is supposed to authorize these warrants is if the information presented to them by the government is true and factual. Then and only then will they authorize the surveillance that the FBI asked them to authorize. And now we know that Comey's FBI lied to obtain that authorization. So, if you are conducting surveillance that is not authorized and, in fact, you lied to get the authorization, you are no longer conducting "court-ordered" surveillance. You are spying. That's what the FBI did to Trump. That's what James Comey did to Trump. That's what Barack Obama and Joe Biden did to Trump. And now that Clinesmith has pleaded guilty to lying on this warrant application, there is no longer any room for doubt, denial, obfuscation, or too-clever-by-half euphemisms. Surveillance without a legally obtained warrant is spying. It was Barack Obama's government that did this. Lock it into the history books and add it to the legacy. It's done. And Jim Acosta... We're waiting for your re-write. https://townhall.com/columnists/larr...eriod-n2574380 |
Also "odd" that Rachel Madcow hasn't touched this news with a ten foot pole... However it was all over it when it was the "hotness"...lolol

Comparisons range from "the party ready to lead into the 80's" to that peace/love/dope former candidate Marianne Williamson referring to it as "like watching a Marriott commercial."
Here's your official drinking game scorecard. Everytime they mention an item... well, you're adults, you know the deal. |

Drink responsibly and don’t drive home from the convention. |

Are you serious? Anybody playing this game is going to be snot slinging, knee walking, shit giggling, crap talking, under the table, garbled, bleary eyed, in the bag, beating the goat, frog faced, out of their skull, blind, sloppy, drunk before the first station break.... The democrats are already "socially confused" from spending so much time at 'Uncle Joe's Cabin' and you want to introduce a drinking game? people playing this game are going to be lit up like a Christmas tree and it isn't even Halloween yet. You are going to cause the kind of drunk that makes people try to fly using cardboard wings and a feather duster duct taped to their ass. ...the kind of drunk that made 63 million people go to the poles for hIlLary cLit0n ARE.YOU.SERIOUS? Really - we're 12 weeks from election and you're suggesting that this is a good idea? Did you grow up in John Kasich's neighborhood? Did you share a set of monkey bars with some of the Romney kids? Have you been getting high with Corn-Pop? It's a senseless game - it's like David Lightman playing Tic-Tac-Toe with W.O.P.R. = "...the only winning move is not to play." |

Can't quite figure out how they are gonna "splain" picking a VP who's daddy famously OWNED 5 Haitian SLAVES to run his farm and her additional descendent Hamilton Brown owned HUNDREDS of slaves...all while the Left are trying to rewrite US History, talking billions in "reparations", and tearing down statues and symbols of former leaders for doing something that was LEGAL and ACCEPTED at the time.
Hell - we drive cars now as a normal everyday activity - powered with FOSSIL FUEL:eek: In 30 years is my cryogenically preserved cyborg body going to be penalized some of my electronic memory or artificial lifespan as reparations for my currenty legal actions? |
There are very good reasons why the Constitution prohibits ex post facto laws...due to among many things, i.e., the evolving legal and cultural standards, regarding what is - or is not - prohibited activity.
The Founding Fathers believed that someone who behaved in ways - that were not considered illegal at the time - should not be held criminally liable if a law was later passed making that behavior criminal. EX POST FACTO LAWS Article I, Section 9, Clause 3: No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed. Both federal and state governments are prohibited from enacting ex post facto laws,1 and the Court applies the same analysis whether the law in question is a federal or a state enactment. When these prohibitions were adopted as part of the original Constitution, many persons understood the term ex post facto laws to embrace all retrospective laws, or laws governing or controlling past transactions, whether . . . of a civil or a criminal nature.2 But in the early case of Calder v. Bull,3 the Supreme Court decided that the phrase, as used in the Constitution, was a term of art that applied only to penal and criminal statutes. But, although it is inapplicable to retroactive legislation of any other kind,4 the constitutional prohibition may not be evaded by giving a civil form to a measure that is essentially criminal.5 Every law that makes criminal an act that was innocent when done, or that inflicts a greater punishment than the law annexed to the crime when committed, is an ex post facto law within the prohibition of the Constitution.6 <snip> https://constitution.congress.gov/br...ALDE_00001089/ Just a question to get the younger folks thinking...aren’t the DEMS and ANTIFA applying the spirit of ex post facto CULTURALLY ? Are they not applying today’s standards - to actions and persons from the past - when such obviously wrong activities now - were committed when they were not illegal then? Essentially, all winners of conquests took slaves in the past...essentially ALL CULTURES...are they now going to cancel themselves? Everyone then cancels everyone else and everything ? That does seem like the nihilism the anarchists embody. If not, what kind of phony, hypocritical demagogues are they? Maybe this is why they want to curtail debate and label certain lines of inquiry “hate speech.” If you examine ALL CULTURES too closely...they all have sinned in the past. Is it really too much to just say let’s learn from the past and drive on? Instead of tearing everything down? The path the DEMS seek right now seems ultimately self-destructive or at least weakening the nation for the taking. |
Laws only apply to people of integrity - and they are ALWAYS written and passed by the party in power - plan accordingly.
-If a President with a sufficient supportive majority in both houses wants to restock the SCOTUS with College poker buddies and then pass a law that makes it illegal to host 'Dwarf Tossing" in your night club - well - you'd better find activity for entertaining your guests on a Saturday night. -If Uncle Joe and Auntie Kamalamala get control of the congress and decide to ban catapults and flaming arrows - you'd better put together a new strategy for defending your castle. -If the party in power wants to declare that eating fried chicken with utensils is a criminal act and you dont like getting your fingers greasy - get a fucking lawyer. -Forgot to 'bounce test' your pickles before you sel them - I hope you have a legal defense fund. ...and don't even get me started about sharing your NetFlix password Crazy and conspiratorial ??? Fuck no it most certainly is not - every one of these ridiculous examples is a current law inside of these glorious United States of America... ...the place that gave you freedom of speech - as long as you aren't trying to sing praise inside of a California church. The democrat party is treasonous by its very nature - vote for them at your own peril. |

Hell, yeah I was serious. Didn't it sound serious? So what if some people miss some of the snooze-fest & only wake up to that racist Indian test pattern? Damn. Then again I probably haven't had a drink since mediocre bourbon was $3.85/half-gallon at the Class VI, so there could be a lack of appreciation of the DE-preciation of Soldier drinking skills.

Watched the “News DNC Special Edition” on Faux last night and in the 30 or so minutes before going to bed (Bernie was rambling on, John Kasich had just committed harakiri without a sword) but they kept playing the rest of the DNC Infomercial with Eva Longoria. In just about an hour I’d have been intoxicated with “Soul of America” alone.
I mean what the hell. Is this about the Soul Train now or just massive pandering to blacks? These people have blown up religion and the nuclear family and now they want to preach - soul? |

They're too young. They wouldn't know soul if James Jamerson & Berry Gordy both walked up & slapped 'em in the face. |
