It's been years since I stepped foot in target I no longer acknowledge its existence and might as well drive by an empty lot. I am sure I am not alone.

I was curious to know how a public company can hang onto a political agenda like this perverted gender bs in spite of its shareholders. I looked at their majority holders and it looks like most (88%) of it is mutual funds. I know squat about the market, but I do have some funds and there is no real accountability to fund holders. Would a company with a larger non-fund holding be able to keep at this agenda the way Target has?

Personally, they could go away & it would be like pulling my fist out of a pail of water. Most folks are oblivious, however, to their agenda and will simply shop wherever they get a deal, or if it's on their "route" that day of the Mall, the Barnes & Noble, Star-yuck, and some other big-box store. Even in the land of Les Deplorables. Time will tell if they will need to begin closing & collapsing store locations.

My wife will still shop at Target, but she no longer even asks if I want to go with her. Probably because of my promise to be loudly politically incorrect.

I already had the loudly non-PC conversation with my Admiral-on-Board. I related the real first incident and substituted hypothetical #3 grand-daughter. Case closed.

It would make a lot more sense to just be neutral, we can talk about this at Chick-fil-A on our way to see what's on sale at Hobby Lobby..................

I had similar experience being called a racist for voting Trump. I responded that I had supported Herman Cain in 2008 and Ben Carson in 2016.
