I've been seeing alot more of these snipers videotaping their longer range shots. When I say longer range, it turns out they are engaging coalition forces from 150-200m. Not impressive, but it helps in the flash to bang recognition for us.

Islamists have the belief that Allah has all say in what happens due to it being his will. They pray to him to cleanse them of any sins and help them accomplish their martyrdom mission. In praying they ask for his protection and guidance on all matters. Not gonna knock it, but it seems to work for them.

Billy Waugh covers this mentality in his book and it makes sense from the perspective that most Arab countries lack an NCO corps. I'd pray too if all tactical decisions were left up to the corps commander.
