Intriguing, yeah? I mean think about it... Had any of us heard a single peep about BHO before he was announced on the Democratic ticket for election?

Actually Obama's name was mentioned frequently as a rising star after he gave the Keynote speech at the 2004 Dem convention.

Well, yeah.

His associations with Ayers and Dohrn, Rezko, Khalidi were known, as were his love of the muslim call to prayer, his association with black liberation theology as illustrated by his association with Wright, and many other activities that would have been extremely detrimental to his being elected.

But, only a few people know about these things because of the slimebag lib predominant press.

Looks like a .GOV operation - one guy working and a bunch of observers standing around watching him work. Maybe it's a TSA security check before boarding the aircraft in Sudan - one lane open, take off your shoes, empty your pockets, stand with your arms extended to the sides while we 'wand' you...

1st ID flys into South Sudan on Osperys to evacuate Americans in a war torn African region.

I should have stayed in the BRO, had no idea that mission was in our METL.

I'm sure you're correct about that, but I was paying a great deal of attention back then to the whole political process, and I personally don't recall hearing his name mentioned until he actually began his bid for the presidency around 2007. Even up to the DNC when it was a coin toss between him and Billary, I remember thinking to myself "Who the hell is this guy?" Even my dyed in the wool Democrat friends couldn't really tell me who he was. He was just some attorney from IL, but people were in love with him nonetheless.

Touche'. Bur remember, what you have said makes sense from a military (or even a common sense) point of view. We can no longer afford to take either for granted.

"...has deployed..."

"...informed Congress Thursday evening that it deployed..."

Sounds like the news was released after the fact to me; not before.

The amount of idiocy these people showed in how they were fooled by Obama, I mean good grief.

Surprising how many people have 20-20 hindsight, as well.

Remember this when it was going around in May of 2011:

"If you voted for Obama in 2008 to prove you're not a racist, you'll have to vote for someone else in 2012 to prove you're not an idiot." By unknown.

Marines

Marines are on the way - about 150 of them.

If they're sending grunts - and don't get in their way with PC shit - it should be plenty.
