The choice is your's. I think I'll have a big steak with steak fries - and maybe a little salad on the side tonight.

Shit...got that right...I coulda went to the grave in 86...but a 1/8" made the difference.

Since then...screw it, if he wanted me, well, then wasn't the time...do what ya want...

Wonder what would happen though...if every one DID know their expiration date???...I know there'd be alot less people here..well, there...ya know what I mean..

My Dad lived on steak and potatoes (French Fries, Pan Fried in bacon grease, mashed, baked) and except for corn and tomatoes, he never touched a veggie. Breakfast was bacon or sausage, fried eggs and potatoes pan fried in bacon grease. He was just short of 87 when he passed. At 86 his PSA was less than 1. He had polio and scarlet fever as a young boy (neither left him with any problems) and never spent a day in the hospital as an adult, until he was 80 and hospitalized for diabetes (he hadn't been to a doctor in 4 years).

At the age of 49 my PSA was 4.1 and biopsies confirmed that I had prostate cancer. I had my prostate removed 5 years later, after my PSA had risen to 11.4.

Today, fifteen years later (I'm considered cured), my urologist (in a case like mine) would recommend HIFU rather than surgery.

Nigella Lawson. Mmmmmmmmmmm

My father was the youngest of seven children and died of prostate cancer at 73. His older brothers who are still alive are now in their 80s and 90s and remain in good health.

I've known heavy smokers and unhealthy eaters who lived to be a ripe old age.

I think it's more in the genes.

Of course you could live a very healthy life until you brain gives out and some nurse starts wiping your ass for you as your body lives on. :munchin :D :D

Indeed, and a recent find seems to bolster that consensus: http://www.foxnews.com/health/2012/0...gyptian-mummy/

My grandmother(fathers side) lived 'till 89, smoked two packs a day unfiltered for over 40 years. On the other hand, my grandfather(mothers side) smoked the occasional pipe and died relatively young from emphysema...

Avoided it altogether or just swallowing :)

I thought I was healthy. Always physically active. Pernickety about what I eat. Don't drink. Don't smoke.
Diagnosed with cancer in my groin and been lying on my back for the last two months after several operations.
So I reckon it makes no flippen difference what your eating and other habits are.

(cancer removed and just recuperating from the tissue grafts now)

Roast potatoes cooked in goose fat will do the trick. I have seen her do it on TV.
