A Muslims way of life just allows for that kind of population. They work hard, make lots of money, have more children, and worship Allah. They don't spend all their money on frivolous things like us Americans.

I doubt you're truly sorry as your comments merely confirm what you seem to believe.

IMO, what you claim to be stating as being 'the obvious' is not nearly as obvious as one might think, and the current cultural tectonic shifting taking place throughout the Muslim world (which includes but also ranges far beyond the geographical borders of SA and SWA) should make one question such a simply held 'belief.'

Whether it is 'true' or not is yet to be determined - however, I disagree with and question the absoluteness of such beliefs.

I retract post #18 on lack of a approval of a QP. That's what I believe Muslims here in America are, bard working folks that want to beter themselves and their families both here and abroad. An example of that is I know a gentleman who works as a high school teacher and a community college teacher. Lives a very frugale life. Does not go out. Great carpenter. Retraction isn't necessary, but a clarification of what you thought you were saying vs what it implied as a continuum to this thread places it in a somewhat different light.

I know many Muslims who seek and live the American dream here in our area - they generally have nice homes, work hard, attend religious services, sacrifice to have their children attend good schools, and have all the accoutrements common to many like-minded Americans today - nice cars, cable/internet packages, clothes, more electronics than they really need, etc. Unfortunately, as with any group, that doesn't apply to everyone.

Many of the Muslim families around here are also no more or less successful than most of the other families and tend to have somewhere between 1-3 children.
