Having spent most of my career here I can remember most of the places before the city council started moving them out...and of course the very questionable fire at Ricks. Which, BTW, did move further up Bragg Blvd into a shopping plaza.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned the Bottom's Up...now THAT was a dive....and it's still there too.

I always liked how the "OFF LIMITS" establishments were always posted on the B Team bulletin board - with a description, pictures showing all points of entry/exit, and a street map indicating exactly where it was located.

Sure made it easier for us to find the damn things. :rolleyes:

Don't feel bad. My blues band played at Lib's damn near every weekend for years before I realized what was going right under my nose, NPI.
