And I thought they called you Big Teddy cuz you LOVE teddybears and you are as cuddly as one!!! hehehe :D

As the ladies would say, "a moment on your lips, forever on your hips". I will admit, I have ZERO self-control when it comes to food. I love to eat. I have struggled with my weight most of my life. It is not easy when you have restaurants creating these monstrosities or when portions get bigger and bigger. I can't order from the kids menu, the restaurants don't allow it and when I don't finish everything on my plate I get a server who, with a pouty look, condescendingly says "aaw, whats wrong, didn't you like it? You didn't finish your meal. NO dessert for you!" Makes me wanna commit very unChristian-like acts!!!
I am NOT infavor of Big Daddy Govt telling us what we can and cannot eat, the salt issue was one thing that got me going. The responsibility lies solely on us, as consumers, to show some restraint. But I find that a lot of menus are limited when it comes to eating healthy BUT tasty food. I'm just sayn!

Saoirse,

I'm 6' 1" and 298 lbs, however when I was 16 and 240 with a "31 inch waist" and being a hockey defenseman,I got the handle from my fellow teammates as Big Teddy, and I carried it with me in SF with my other teammates..............:D

Those "burgers" highlight what, for me, is the main problem with Krispy Kreme doughnuts... they are too damned little! :)

Saoirse 09-01-2010 15:16

I am seriously getting agida looking at those KK burgers. Wow...yeah, not so much. I like that whole sweet and salty taste but not in a burger or a donut.

MY favorite burgers are at "In 'n Out" - a CA chain. They didn't open one in AZ until around '94, and it was waaaaay far from me up in Snottsdale. However, it was right next to a brand new Krispy Kreme... so it was worth the trip. Go for a late breakfast and an early lunch.

Of course, being cheap, I'd wait until there was a long line at Krispy Kreme, and then stand it in. They'd bring around sample doughnuts for you while you waited. When I got near the front, I'd just move to the back. I'd eat 6 or 7 doughnuts (they are little!! that way. When I finally got to the register, I'd just order a small milk. :D

Ah Yes!!! Size does indeed matter!!!;):p

S--- My friend, sweet and savory DO actually meet well together, in some Culinary masterpieces! But, in this case, I think it is every man for himself!

Worth trying a bite of though...., after all, what is wrong with only, "one bite?" hehehehe

It is a combination birthed in heaven... Syrup on everything, plus the right hot sauce on the chicken, and HOT DAMN, it's gonna be a good day! Works best with wings.

It's just...bizarre. I like sweet/salty combos but that seems odd. Then again I like an over easy fried egg on toast with smear of peanut butter, so to each their own. :D

ZD, I forgot about Lolo's. Whew. Good stuff. Like the crust on the chicken with a little syrup! In moderation. Wicked good.
