Your senior should square you away, you can always introduce yourself to other E's in the hall and ask questions. If you have some time, try different things out. Pack spare batteries for your radio(whicheverone you use), Connectors, handmic, 2055, chow, mags, headlamp (if you choose not to wear it around your neck), a couple of surefire batteries, compass, and survival kit.
