I'm looking for some Edelweiss here, but can't see any. I'm in Aurora, CO. right now, looking into the Rockies. Gotta love those Hotels with free internet access...:cool:

Edit: Razor, I will be in the Springs later this week. There is a Bavarian Place there, called Edelweiss. I buy you a German beer there, for the coin check... :-)

Ron's a good guy. He was our SFA Chapter pres for a number of years.

Both Ron and Stella (his wife) are great people. If he's not at the Suffren "B" when you get there with Mike-Munich, have the bar tender call him. I'm sure he will come by to meet Mike.

Mike if you find time you might want to take a day and visit the Greeley Independence Stampede. Great concerts, rodeos etc. If you come on a day I am working I can get you backstage if there is a concert. Let me know! Here is the link.

Razor, good talking to you on the phone ! We did stop at the buffalo observation place, but didn't see any. Instead we made the detour to Buffalo Bill's grave. We also went to Carbondale to check out the old downtown. Nice ! I made friends with the Police there and set up a good patch trade. We also went to Aspen that day, hooked up with the Police and Pitkin Co. Sheriff there. Got some nice patches (and I gave them some of mine). We stayed in Snowmass Village for 2 nights. Real nice... Thanks for the hints ! :cool:

CoLawman, thanks for the info. That's where we are right now. Just returned from the Stampede Festgrounds, sitting on the computer of the Best Western Regency on 8th St. now. Booked my tickets for the Brad Paisley concert tomorrow via the internet from Germany 6 month ago (good thing, it's sold out). We'll return to Greeley for 4th of July, got tickets for the Rodeo too. Can you really hook me up with backstage passes ?? That'll be awesome !!! I'll IM you my phone no.

Razor, thanks for forwarding the messages, everything worked out beautifully. I owe you another beer at Uwe's or the Suffren Bastards Tavern. I left you a message on the answering machine earlier. We came into the Springs today at noon and are staying in a Hotel just outside Peterson AFB now. Gimme a holler tomorrow when you get the chance.

I remember that when I put a case of empty beer bottles out by my entrance, when i lived in Fleck, I would receive a like case of full bottles. Much better than the milk man. It was wonderful!

now it's the other way around. you leave a full case in front of your door, it'll be gone within 30 seconds... things have changed. unfortunately....
