Stupid...and dangerous. This is flipping unreal.

Holocaust being removed from British schools...
 

Unfortunately I am already begining to see this trend in my school, such as in my English 3 class a whole section was removed from the syllabus involving the Holocaust. For the simple reason is that some students found the content disturbing and, some even went as far as to say it offend them simply because they were of German desent. Not to mention all my history teachers seem to try and avoid the topic of the Civil War for a reason I myself can still not understand.

Our secular schools are quickly declining in moral values it has even went as far as some students mocking the Pledge of Allegiance, and instead of teachers disiciplining the students they merly stand there and say nothing. And when someone actually tries to respect our flag people look at you strangely.

Though there are alot of people in my school who do still respect our country it seems that our schools are starting to accommodate everyone but the American.

It's scary how people think when you get away from areas like FT Bragg.
When I visited my family in NY. I was pissed at them for being changed by the media and society, all since 911. Out of touch with reality, selfish, oppose anything that might require sacrifice and anti most things patriotic. it's easy to show them how wrong they are, win arguments but it doesn't change their thinking. Everyone wants things to go back to the way they were before 911. People are willing to give up anything if it means avoiding sacrifice and conflict.

Some "good" news though...

Just wanted to say that for every one of these liberal tree-hugging wacko's, there is a professor who teaches in the pro-American vein.
At the University I attend, our top two History prof's are former Army & CIA, and call a spade a spade.

It is really wonderful to be in a classroom where your professor calls a rag-head a rag-head, for cutting off the heads of innocents. :lifter These men kick-ass while teaching History, both past and present.

It seems to me that these people need a refresher as to what being open minded really is.
Namely being intelligent enough to relize that there are points of view other than your own, polite enough to listen to them (as long as they are intellignetly articulated) and mature enough to not force your view on someone else that you disagree with.
Truth does not require belief in order to be true.
