This is old news. The libs love to spin this one.

The truth is he never lied about it or was under investigation for obstruction of justice.

Clinton getting a Monica was no big deal. It was the lie afterwards that the law was concerned with.

He was also found inocent of the ethics charges after he resigned. Another fact the press loves to forget.

While immoral, his actions were not illegal. There is a reason why he is no longer a member of Congress and why he has no shot at ever holding a meaningful position in the Republican party again. He has been judged by his fellow conservatives and found wanting. The difference between the two parties is that when a Republican is caught engaging in immoral behavior he resigns his position. Gingrich quit, Livingston quit, Clinton, on the other hand, told the world that he would fight to the last second of the last minute of the last hour to keep his Presidency and had the full support of his party.

Mark Foley gets caught sending disgusting e-mails to a minor (no actual sex just the e-mails) and he loses his job. Dem Rep Gerry Studds get busted for having sex with a 17 year old male page and not only keeps his job but he receives a standing ovation from his fellow democrats after being censured and then appointed chair of the House Committee on Merchant Marine and Fisheries.

I'd say that the parties handle immoral behavior the same way. That why William Jefferson is still in Congress despite the fact that the FBI videotaped him taking a $100,000 bribe and later found $90,000 of the bribe money in his freezer. Not to mention the two people who have already plead guilty to bribing the congressman. Randy Cunningham on the other hand is spending the next 8 years of his life in prison. You're right, conservatives are such hypocrites.

The conservative vs liberal debate is just a distraction from the real issues.

"You are a den of vipers and thieves. I intend to rout you out, and by the Eternal God, I will rout you out... If people only understood the rank injustice of the money and banking system, there would be a revolution by morning."

3 Weeks to $30 million

Just saw Mr. Speaker on Fox News. He said that if he raises $30 million pledges in 3 weeks time, he will enter the race. He stated that he attended a Republican workshop in Mackinac where there was a lot of support for him to run. He stated that it would require that much money to even contest someone like Romney who could write a personal check for $100 million. To compete it takes money. He further stated that if the pledges are not there, he will not run.
