Oh I did...thats how I know.

Heel cap (prior to having them removed) on new pair of jungles rubbed a big one on my right heel during a night movement (working on my night land nav) up here in the mountains.

Pulled a 3cc syringe, 18ga needle and a small bottle of ToB out of my ruck, drained the vesicle and injected that liquid fire into it, ran in circles like a mad man for 5 or so minutes but was okay there after. Cut a piece of moleskin to place around it, powdered feet, changed socks, and moved out. Its great stuff, but its not something I want to do often. One more lesson learned.

Step 1: properly fitted and properly BROKEN in boots
Step 2: properly conditioned feet
