Well, Trump said that "he" wouldn't pursue investigation, but perhaps the new Attorney General will take it upon himself to examine the evidence and indict Mrs. Klinton.

He said, so the article says, that he will not pursue her on the email thing....and that is prob a good call for the nation honestly.
However, the FBI is still investigating the foundation and that is a separate issue.

That too may be 'not prosecuted' as a prior President is involved but it could easily be the total destruction of the Clinton name/legacy and a stake in the heart of their aspirations thru their daughter Goofy who will seek a political Congressional seat at some point.

My thoughts, exactly. I'm hoping that this is his attempt to seem Presidential and conciliatory toward the Dems, while mending the hearts of the broken; all the while, knowing that the Republican Congress is going to rake her over the coals.

This is, at least, my hope. With this degree of Republican power, if she does not go down for her crimes, then I will say, "Hillary Clinton is above the law!"

I'd like to see what happens after January 21, 2017, when he (Trump) knows that Obama can't protect her and pardon her, granting her immunity.

This statement could be nothing more than a faint on Trump's part.

Time will tell ... :munchin

Yep, I agree with PRB too. Let Chavetz and Gowdy complete their investigations, get all the facts, and request an independent Special Prosecutor to move forward and make his/her recommendations. No taint of political, partisan retribution. Smart, very smart on DJT's part IMO.

Oh and PRB, I love your nickname for Chelsea, "Goofy" that's gonna stick! :D

Micro-aggression against quadrapeds that can successfully flirt with lady dragons!
The Monster's Daughter (sounds like a formal ball, eh?) is simply a well-funded unicorn chaser. Except she breeds.

+1.

I doubt sessions will let it slide completely. People are in for a wake up with him at the helm.

I'm not really a Clinton fan, but I think Trump has the right idea on this one. Ford pardoned Nixon, and Carter pardoned the Vietnam draft dodgers, to close a divisive era and move on. Both cases would have been ripe for further legal action, but would have continued to cause division. The efforts during Reconstruction should highlight this, where the north felt the need to make the south "pay" for the war. Bad blood continued all the way to the Spanish American War.

I doubt this is a "move", I'm sure he means it. If he wants to get his agenda through Congress he needs to mend fences, which he has been busy doing based on his actions since the 8th. I'm fairly optimistic.
