Hello all,

Just thought I would stop by and say hi. I tend not to post much unless a topic really perks my interest of I have a question of some sort. I would just like to thank everyone for there input and I am glad that I am able to learn from men who have been where I will be soon.

Hello to all

Allow me to introduce myself.

Heard about this site from a couple of the guys at work. Decided to check it out, and unlike them, actually signed up! I think they were intimidated by "Team Daddy" and the other QP's.

Anyway, I'm an active duty 18Z stationed at Carson. Just gave up my last ODA in November, and now I'm running a detachment in the fledgling OTC or OpsDet as it was originally called.

Looking for a QP who knows me to "sponsor" me. Ping me by PM if you're from 10th and are interested.

Hello all.

I'm a retired 18C out of 7th Grp. Currently doing the PMC gig in OIF. Graduated the Q Course in May'91, retired in Jan '05. I look forward to some good stuff on this board.

Judgeroybean 03-15-2008 11:58

Hi, I'm Scott Howard, "retired" from my 4 years active duty, 80-84. Started in class 8-80, graduated 3-81. C-2-10th SFG after that. Had some great times, have kept in touch with several buds whp transferred to 1st SFG in 84. Worked a short time in construction after getting out, and have been a firefighter for 20 years now. I drive by Ft Lewis on my way to work, and still get nostalgic after all these years.

Interested in SF, I've seen a company of you guys in formation in front of JFK. That was the first time I've seen an actual green beret. I know what you guys are about, and I see myself taking up the challenge later on down the road.

My name is Jim Sissons, retired CW3 out of 10th Group, served there from 1986 to 2003.
In case anyone is wandering about the handle, it was a running joke every year when OERs were due, I was a solid 2 block all day, had it nailed down to a science. That and it rhymes with that rapper guy.
A good friend of mine stationed in Hawaii called to tell me our good friend George Scott (ODA-014) passed away and I could find out more about it here.
Thanks to every one of you barrel chested freedom fighters who keep this site up and running.
